First it was wine, then coffee. Now more and more Australians are acquiring the taste for exquisite, hand-made chocolates. To understand the complex and intriguing nature of chocolate and become true connoisseurs, indulge in a Definitely Chocolate gourmet tasting experience.
Your tasting guide comes with tasting notes, “The Little Book of Chocolate” and the best pure chocolate and blends from around the world.
Two categories of chocolate are included;
1. Single origin bars (6 x 80g bars) - each crafted from cacoa beans sourced from a single, unique region of the world. This is the cocoa equivalent of a single malt whisky or a grand cru wine. Single Origin Chocolate allows us the pleasure of taste and aroma specific to cocoa grown in different regions under different conditions of rainfall, heat and humidity. Take your taste buds for a journey through the cacao plantations of Java, Ecuador, Cuba, Venezuela and Tanzania.
2. Filled chocolates (20 exquisite chocolates) – understand the difference between a praline, ganache, caramel, truffle or cream filling by tasting examples of each. Each of the chocolates will be enrobed in the world’s best Belgian chocolate. Allow yourself the luxury of tasting the outer chocolate and then the burst of flavour as you break through to the exquisite filling inside.
